Shibani Kashyap performs for Indore and Bangalore rounds of Miss India pageant


    Versatile singer, composer and live performer Shibani Kashyap, who has lent her voice to many sensuous women on screen, took a step further last year, when she paid tribute to the Miss India pageant through a special song. Shibani has composed and sung I Am A Woman, I Am A Girl, to celebrate Miss India and its 50 golden years. Its currently playing on radio channels. During the
    recent Indore  and Bangalore rounds of the pageant, she also performed the song live. Well known for her hit songs like Ho Gayi Hai Mohabbat, Sajna Aa Bhi Jaa, Zinda Hoon
Main, and her recent hit Bakhuda from her album My Free Spirit (number one on the Radio Mirchi charts), she is coming out with a new album titled Curry Beats, a Times Music project, this month. The first song, a Punjabi funk number called Soneya, features Mika, making this the first time the duo has collaborated. She has also composed and sung the theme song for Shobhna Seven Nights, starring  Raveena Tandon, and has also lent her voice to the Bacardi TVC. She also endorses an international guitar brand with Louis Banks, Loy Mendosa and Raghav Sachar and is the only woman guitar player to do so! She’s currently completing her forthcoming album with pal Rabbi Shergill.
