JAY SONI GETS EMOTIONAL

    While we have seen Jay Soni play the role of an emotional son in Sanskaar- Dharohar Apno Ki, now we realise he is the same in real life too. The actor recently showed got emotional while felicitating the winners of the Sanskaar Milaye Aapko Apno Se Contest when he found out that the winners – Mr and Mrs Puran Singh Banga of Mumbai will get to meet their son Amardeep in Phoenix, USA after four years as part of the gratification of the contest.
    Says Jay, “I had tears in my eyes when I heard the story of how Amardeep dreamt of becoming a pilot but lost a limb and got his fingers amputated in an aeroplane crash. And the worst part about it is that his dreams were shattered as it happened on the day when he was to acquire his flying license. I can’t imagine how difficult it must have been for his parents who’ve invested all their savings only to see their son go through so much.”
    Touched by the story, Jay also called the braveheart in USA to personally wish him on his birthday. “After playing the character of Jai Kishen, I can relate to Amandeep’s back story, of making a place from himself, chasing his dreams.” he said.
    The segment in Sanskaar- Dharohar Apno Ki, which is a Mother’s Day special, will air tonight at 9 pm on Colors
