Anil Kapoor lucky for Siddharth?

    Siddharth Shukla, popularly known as Shiv of Balika Vadhu, won the Most Lokpriya Jodi award (with Pratyusha Banerjee aka Anandi) and also the Most Lokpriya Face award (Male) at the Golden Petal Awards. Siddharth believes that Anil Kapoor is his lucky charm. While receiving the award from Anil, he said, “I believe he is lucky for me. He was the judge when I won the Manhunt award. And I have won two awards here and those too, I have received from him.”
    And now, with Kapoor becoming a part of the channel with his desi version of 24, Siddharth’s luck may shoot up further. Siddharth, who was a ramp model, got into acting a few years ago. It was a natural progression and he’s glad with the way things have shaped up. About his character Shiv, he says, “The way he deals with situations, there’s a lot to learn from him. He is a nice guy, but when required, he can be very stern, too. Actually, there’s a lot I take home from this character.”
