Sujata makes a comeback

    Sujata Sanghamitra is returning to acting after almost seven years with an upcoming show, Sanskaar, on Colors. Last seen in Kkusum — Ek Aam Ladki Ki Kahani, a show she left before it took a time leap, Sujata spent her time off acting handling shows. So, what prompted her to take up a show now? “It’s a good time for television with good stories being transformed into shows. Acting is my first love. My role in Sanskaar is strong and nice.” Sujata has no qualms about playing an older character if the role is pivotal. “I can’t play the regular saas and bahu. I can play a grandmother if my role is substantial. Age doesn’t matter,” she says.
