Girls at the bowling alley

Girls at the bowling alley

It was all about having fun at the bowling alley. Smaaash, the 40,000 square feet area plus entertainment hub that has introduced Mumbaikars to an aspirational form of cricket, soccer, along with first-person shooting and F1 Simulator, now boasts of nation’s first UV LIT bowling alley with the state-of-the-art bowling lanes and sophisticated bowling technology at Kamla Mills Compound, Lower Parel. It is incidentally SoBo’s only bowling destination. Miss India World 2012 Vanya Mishra, Miss India Earth 2012 Prachi Mishra and Miss India International 2012 Rochelle Maria Rao were joined by Pooja Gor, Raj Singh Arora and Soumya Seth — the cast of The Serial on Channel V (A Star TV Network) — were amongst the first to try out this new and exciting facility. Shripal Morakhia, the founder of Smaaash, said, “We have introduced the UV LIT bowling to bring to the game a more interesting and exciting dimension, which will be the first of it’s kind in Mumbai and a new form of entertainment for the whole family to enjoy together.” Aniruddh Basu, chief marketing and revenue officer, Smaaash, said, “This is not only becoming a popular entertainment destination spot for Mumbaikars at night, but also an sporting hub where sports enthusiasts queue up during the afternoon and early evening hours. We could also see a lot of expats and in-bound tourists visiting Mumbai this season and they visit this venue making it a destination point in the tourist map of Mumbai.”
