SALLU-SONA ON SA RE GA MA PA

    These days, it’s about ‘Being Dabangg’ for Salman Khan. At least that’s what the slogan on his T-shirt read, when he visited the sets of the music reality show, Sa Re Ga Ma Pa 2012. He was accompanied by Sonakshi Sinha, the heroine of Dabangg 2. Despite suffering from cold and fever, Salman had everyone in splits as he teased music directors Sajid-Wajid on their compositions for the movie and the contestants.
    The actor was awestruck by the talent on stage; he was especially floored by Jasraj Joshi and Shenaz Akhtar. When Pune boy Jasraj did a fusion version of the song Taali from Veer, Chulbul Pandey said, “I don’t think you are talented, you are simply gifted. You have taken this song to another level. You have a studio in yourself… jo effects log studio mein karte hain, woh aapke andar hain… pura ka pura software ho aap. What an imagination!”
    When the voice of Ludhiana, as Shehnaz is called on the show, serenaded Sonakshi with the song Dagabaaz Nain from her upcoming film, the actress looked visibly impressed. Salman said, “The way you have sung it, I find it better than Tere Mast Mast Do Nain. Aapne bilkul desired sukoon se gaaya. This song needed your voice more than Rahat’s (Rahat Fateh Ali Khan).”
