Newbie Madhurima Tuli had apprehensions about her debut movie
Madhurima Tuli, who made her Bollywood debut opposite Bhoop Yadhuvanshi in Akashaditya Lama’s Cigarette Ki Tarah, is glad
that the film has finally seen the light of the day. With the set-up,
her co-star and the director being new, she was doubtful about the
project initially. “I was apprehensive about doing the film, but once I
heard the script and a few songs, I agreed to be a part of it,” she
says.
About bagging her role, Madhurima says, “I had done a
short film for an NGO in Madhya Pradesh. A coactor, who was part of that
project, recommended my name to the makers of Cigarette Ki Tarah.”
Having faced the camera before as the face of reputed brands worked in
her favour. She says, “I am not camera shy.”
Madhurima has
already bagged another film that is expected to start soon. “There will
be an announcement shortly,” she informs. The film also stars Yuvika
Chaudhary, Prashant Narayanan and Sudesh Berry in important roles.
Cigarette Ki Tarah, produced by P Y Films, is currently playing in theatres near you.
