Mumbai’s swish set get a taste of British Columbia 

    Significant beginnings need big celebrations and that is what the evening hosted by Times Group MD Vineet Jain for the finance minister of British Columbia (Canada), Michael de Jong, was about. Organised by Chhaya Momaya, the party also marked the launch of British Columbia’s operations at the Canadian Consul, and saw a turnout featuring industry bigwigs, Bollywood biggies and Mumbai’s creme da la creme. At the start of the evening, it seemed like Jong intended to wind up by 10 pm, but, Indian hospitality did get the better of him and he only left around midnight! In attendance at the do were names from the corporate world like Adi Godrej and Nikhil Meswani, as also the likes of Riyhad Kundanmal and wife Alisha Chauhan.
    Dressed a tad too casually, Ranbir Kapoor conceded that he was a little too ‘chilled out’ for a formal affair, but we later saw him having animated conversations with the guests present. He was seen in a playful mood as he engaged in friendly banter with Anushka Sharma. They were soon joined by Abhay Deol, who recently returned from Marrakech. Anoop and Juhi Babbar Soni,
